From hub launches to national hits, here’s what we’ve been up to in October

Our colleague Annie was in Sheffield this week for the launch of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s newest Enterprise Hub, the Academy’s sixth regional hub across the UK.
Rooted in the Academy’s 2030 strategy “Engineering Better Lives”, the Sheffield Hub takes a place-based approach to boosting innovation and economic growth. By working closely with partners like the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, it will support founders, nurture engineering and tech talent and help high-potential ventures scale.
We were proud to lead media relations for the launch, securing digital and print coverage in The Yorkshire Post and The Sheffield Star, as well as a feature with Yorkshire Insider. We’re excited to see how the Hub will spark new ideas and create impact across South Yorkshire and beyond.

The 2025 Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) cyberattack has cost the UK economy an estimated £1.9 billion, according to the Cyber Monitoring Centre (CMC). This is due to the disruption of JLR’s manufacturing and supply chains, affecting over 5,000 businesses and making it the most economically damaging cyber event in the UK.
We are, therefore, incredibly pleased to be supporting Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund (Ben), the charity for automotive workers in the UK with stakeholder engagement and media awareness of the help they are offering to those affected, as well as .
Ben has set up dedicated financial and mental help support for those affected. If you know anyone who would benefit from Ben’s help, then please go to their dedicated support page for more.

Following on from her glamorous photoshoot in September, we were absolutely delighted to see our fabulous client Kerry Hennessy appear on the front page of the Daily Mail’s Femail, inside the supplement and also in the MailOnline, one of the largest global English-language news websites.
This is the kind of exposure that we can generate for clients who put their trust in us, work with our Storybuilding process and invest for the long term. in an ongoing relationship. The editor loved the piece so much that we have secured another profile feature for Kerry and Dr Hennesssy – watch this space.

Sophie recently attended the kick off for the 2025-2026 Women in PR / PR Week Mentoring Programme at Samsung KX in London. She was selected to participate in this year’s cohort alongside an impressive line up of talented women set to become the future leaders of our industry.
The event, aimed at welcoming this year’s mentees and mentors, as well as bid farewell to the ‘Class of 2025’ was a fantastic opportunity to meet everyone involved in the programme and the judging panel. Sophie has already kicked off with the mentoring framework and looks forward to sharing more as the year progresses.
