The Story

At the intersection of business, technology, and the political economy, Jonny Clark is more than an investor, founder and community builder – he is a Startographer, mapping the way for early stage tech startups.

Jonny is the CEO of Capital Enterprise, the UK’s leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping startups – and the places they grow – thrive. As a visionary angel investor (named SeedLegals Angel Investor of the Year 2024), founding member of Baltic Ventures and co-founder of GDPR Defender, he has a relentless drive to support early-stage tech ventures. His influence extends beyond investments, shaping Liverpool’s startup ecosystem through initiatives like Startup Grind Liverpool and the groundbreaking Liverpool Slush’d the most founder-focused event in the North West. Jonny pitched and ultimately won the confidence from SlushHQ to bear the community brand name of the world’s most prestigious startup conference. He curated and hosted Liverpool Slush’D in both 2023 and 2024 with Tuesday Media helping to curate and promote both events.
