Celebrating a year in business with Tuesday Media

Celebrating a year in business

Last month, we celebrated our first Christmas at Tuesday Media, the company Sophie founded on the belief that “those who tell stories rule the world”

Let’s look back on the highlights…

Multiple logos of charities

Helping raise £20k for 7 charities

Earlier this year, digital search agency Search Seven launched #share7, a campaign to raise £17k for seven different charities. We’ve provided constant media visibility for the campaign in local, regional, business, charity, online and in broadcast media, as well as provided strategy and content. This has helped them to smash the target, raising a total of £20,000.

The money will help premature and newborn babies; allow more people with dementia access support they need; help vulnerable and homeless youth in Brighton and literally save the life of a young lady in Uganda with a tumour behind her eye. What a great story and a fantastic project to be involved with.

PR for architectural restoration project

We have spent 2018 providing PR to raise awareness and funding for an important architectural restoration project. The campaign focused on repairing the Grecian pillars of the neo classical frontage of Amon Henry Wilds’ architected Brighton Unitarian Church. This is a creative space at the heart of the city, used by musicians, yogis, dancers and artists as well as by spiritual seekers.

The Herculean campaign has seen the church raise £317,000 so far and has restored this beautiful 200 year old building to its former glory. One of our highlights of the year was celebrating with them at their grand reopening in November. Watch a great video about the restoration story here.

Leonard Cheshire’s #RAF100 celebrations

We were approached by Leonard Cheshire, the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people, to promote their prestigious art exhibition at Mall Galleries. Our targeted PR in the arts and military press drove footfall to the exhibition, which coincided with the #RAF100 centenary celebrations. It was a real pleasure to work with such a worthy organisation and be part of this prestigious event.

A BBC article relating to Harrogate

Taking RedHouse Originals global

Earlier this year, we were engaged by Harrogate-based commercial art gallery RedHouse Originals. Throughout 2018, we have secured them exposure on the BBC, an exclusive in The Times, ITV, Mailonline and even the Chinese State Broadcaster, as well as in several specialist arts and culture publications.
In December, we helped them celebrate much-loved British icon The Beano’s 80th anniversary, with an exhibition by Horace Panter, artist and bassist in British Ska band The Specials. This coincided with the release of a new single. We were exceptionally pleased to secure impressive broadcast coverage in the BBC, as well as online coverage in the BBC, Fred Perry Subculture and British Ideas Corporation as well as Northern Soul magazine.

The REED Logo

Helping REED startup tell it’s story

REED Recruitment-owned incubator for innovative tech startups created a design sprint to answer the question: How might Recruitment Agencies provide a better service to candidates? DUBL, a B2C recruitment platform that puts candidates seeking employment in control, came out of this sprint.

We were engaged by DUBL to evaluate their core message for B2C audiences and to see if we could help refine this to create more customer engagement and increase signups. We ran our brand messaging workshop and, as a result we drove over 37% more sign ups to the platform.

We loved helping technical developers bring to life their product in stories and, in the process, adding REED as a prestigious client to the Tuesday roster.

Multiple people during a yoga

Selling out London’s 1st yoga sound journey

We sold out tickets for the first outdoor ‘immersive sound journey’ and yoga class which took place on London’s first ever floating island in Paddington, accompanied by a live band and led by Caleb Jude Packham, former TV presenter, influencer and star yoga teacher. Our organic, paid and word of mouth social media campaign, which we turned round in less than three weeks, saw the event being a sell out success.

A red book with those who tell stories rule the world

Bring on Chapter 2…

We’ve taken nineteen clients on incredible journeys this year. I’m so proud of my team who really live the Tuesday maxim: great people, making great work and living the lives we want to live. It’s in empowering the best people to do the best work that we help our clients to rule the world.

A huge thank you to all who have supported me along the journey.
